Wonderful Stay

My husband and I recently got married in Vieques, and stayed at El Cerro for a week with our family and friends. The property is absolutely gorgeous- we stayed in the second floor of the Rock House, where we could wake up each morning and step outside onto our own private veranda overlooking the Caribbean. Each of the three houses had plenty of space and well stocked kitchens, so all 18 of us fit comfortably. The houses are a bit spread out (it takes a few minutes to walk from one to other), which also provided a degree of privacy. The caretakers, Christian and Katie, were very accommodating without being intrusive- they let us ship items to the property beforehand, helped drive us and our families to and from the airport, and even brought us freshly baked cookies while we were in the pool one afternoon. The property is within walking distance of several great restaurants in downtown Esperanza, as well. Our entire wedding party loved their rooms, and Vieques in general. We will definitely be back!
